in the mid 1970s [[Argus]] attempted to capture some of the demand created by Kodak's [[Instamatic#110_pocket_cassette_film | Pocket Instamatic]] series for [[110 film]]. Various models were rebadged from overseas suppliers; and picking up from Argus's "[[Argus 164k Carefree |Carefree]]" branding, the name '''Pocket Carefree 110''' was used on several. 

One version made in Japan features an orange square shutter release, and advances film using a bottom slider. It accepts [[flashcubes]]. Seemingly-related models may be labeled '''C10''' or '''Electronic Argus C40'''.

Several models have a round white shutter release, a red stripe beside the Argus name, and advance film with a large knurled thumbwheel. One where the thumbwheel reads '''110 Carefree Pocket Camera''' accepts flashcubes. Examples of this version may be marked "Made in British Hong Kong." A lookalike '''110 Carefree 2 Pocket Camera''' accepts [[Flashbulbs#Flipflash | Flip Flash]]. Examples of this may be marked "Made in Taiwan." There is also a '''Carefree 110F''' (from Taiwan) and similar '''Argus 400''' (from China) whose design seems unrelated to the others above.
