The Model K, a very uncommon Argus image by Rick Soloway (Image rights) |
The Model K is one of the most uncommon cameras ever sold by Argus, from 1,800 to 2,100 units made according to different sources. It is a compact scale focus camera for 35mm film with a built-in extinction meter. The 50mm lens offers apertures from f/4.5 to f/11; shutter speeds are in convenient geometric sequence of 1/25, 1/50, 1/100 and 1/200 seconds.
