This model is equivalent to the earlier Argus Argoflex Seventy-Five; and the camera is described more completely in that article.

Among the minor cosmetic changes in this early-1960s variant are a brown plastic body, restyled graphics printed on the front metal panel, and a shortening of the model name to a numeral 75 which appears in red. The Argus 75 lacks the tripod socket found on some earlier Argus Seventy-Fives.

Having been in production since 1949, the 75/Seventy-Five reached the end of its road in 1964, the moment when family snapshot photographers were rapidly being lured away by Kodak's then-new Instamatic lineup.
