The Ansco Viking 6.3 is a folding 6cm x 7cm medium format camera manufactured by Agfa in 1952.
Description
The Ansco Viking 6.3 takes 8 6cm x 9cm (2.25 in x 3.75 in) photos on a standard roll of 120 format film. According to a name plate on camera, it was manufactured for Ansco by Agfa Camera Werk, München, US Zone, Germany. The camera includes an 105mm Agfa Agnar Anastigmatic, hard-coated lens. Aperture settings are f6.3, f8, f11, f16, and f22. A Vario shutter provides speed settings of 1/200, 1/50, 1/25, and Bulb. Controls and features on the camera include shutter speed, aperture, shutter cocking lever, shutter release button, film winding knob, back latch, platform release button, cable release socket, M-Sync flash connector, tripod socket, and an accessory shoe for flash guns or range finders. An optional leather carrying case was available, the Ansco Everready Case JN-450.[1]
