Alpha Photo was a company in Piacenza, Italy. It made the Ikorette camera since 1950. Maybe copyright reasons ("Icarette" resemblance) caused the company to name its other cameras Koret. Of course these simple Italian cameras had an "obiettivo a menisco" and an "otturatore a ghigliottina" for instant and bulb mode.
