Ajax D with shutter release button on top. It has a 1:4.5 Boyer Saphir lens in Alsaphot leaf shutter with speeds up to 1/300 sec. Almost similar to the D'Assas-Lux which has a Boyer Topaz lens. image by camera1739 (Image rights) |
D'Assas 3 SHD with 1:3.5 Alsar lens on Alsaphot shutter unit with speeds up to 1/200. Images by reflets de vert. (Image rights) |
The viewfinder camera made by Alsaphot has focusable pull-out lens. It shoots 6×6cm exposures on type 120 film rolls. Its name is Ajax or D'Assas. Advanced versions have a shutter release button on their restyled camera top. Many versions have Gitzo shutters instead of Alsaphot shutters. A relative is the Alsaphot Cady.
