The EI-100 is a early digital camera from Pentax released in 2001. The lens is a 5.5mm (42mm equivalent) f/2.8. It can focus from 60cm to infinity. There is also a macro mode for shooting between 30cm and 60cm. There is no optical zoom but there is a digital 2x zoom feature. It uses a 1.3 megapixel a CCD based sensor. Images are captured with a maximum resolution of 1280 x 960 in the JPEG file format. A lower 640 x 480 option is also present. There is a built-in flash mode that offers flash-on, and flash-off and red-eye reduction. There is a optical view finder as well as a 1.8 inch LCD display. There is 8MB of built in storage and CompactFlash media is used removable storage. Power is with four AA batteries.
