The CM-3 is a 35mm film SLR camera from Chinon.
This model is made to accept 42mm screw lenses and the user activates its stop down metering with a half press on the shutter release. Colored LEDs on the right edge of the viewfinder eyepiece indicate under/correct/over exposure for the current camera settings. (On some later models these LEDs moved to the left edge, perhaps more comfortable to the right-eyed shooters (who like right-handers, are the majority.)
Flash sync is available at the "X" shutter speed of 1/100 second and there is a mechanical self-timer.
This model is designed to accept the accessory 2-frames-per-second Chinon Power Winder (shown here, and described in the manual). This offered a couple of advanced options such as an intervalometer and the ability to count down a predetermined number of frames.
