The Digital 現場監督 DG-3Z is a rugged digital camera introduced by Konica in 2003. It was replaced by the DG-4.
The body is water (JIS Class 7), dust (JIS 6) and sand proof. Photos are captured using a 3.24 million pixel 1/2.7" CCD sensor. It uses Secure Digital for removable storage. Images have a maximum resolution of 2048 × 1536 pixels and stored in JPEG or TIFF format. It uses a 35-105mm, f/2.6-4.7 equivalent 3x zoom lens with a focusing distance of 0.3m to infinity, but also supports a close-up shooting mode of 0.01m in wide mode. Flash modes include, red-eye reduction auto, redeye, on, slow sync and off. There is a optical finder and a 1.6" colour LCD monitor.
