The Zenith Comet was made in Chicago, c.1947 by Zenith. The body is plastic, and designed for 13/8 x 2 inch (3.5 x 5cm) images on 127 film.
Zenith made a similar camera, the Comet Flash - with flash sync, and with the labelling oriented in landscape format.
