The Yashica 300 Auto Focus is a 35mm SLR camera manufactured by Kyocera. It uses Kyocera Yashica AF lens.

There are a number of typical exposure modes including, (P) program, (AV) Aperture priority, (TV) Shutter priority) and (M) Manual exposure. This can be changed with the mode button.

It has a vertical metal focal plane shutter with speeds from 8s to 1/2000 of a sec. Bulb mode can be used in manual mode. The self-timer is electronic with a audio beep and delay of approx 10 sec. It features an TTL center-weighted metering system with a range of 1 to 10 EV at (ASA 100, f/1.8). It can accept DX coded film with speeds of 25 to 5000 ISO, non-DX film is set to 100 ISO. A data back DA-5 is available which can imprint data and time with the year up to 2019. Power is from a 6V 2CR5 battery located within the hand grip.
