Bakelite Wardflex TLR (Argoflex E) image by Stephen Dowle (Image rights) |
The Montgomery Ward department store chain offered many manufacturers' cameras under its own name. Before WWII, Wardflex referred to a bakelite TLR with geared coupling between viewing and takings lenses—this was a renaming of the Argoflex E, built in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
See also Wardflex (metal) for the metal 1950's TLR models imported from Japan.
