Description

The Vista Tele is a fixed focus panoramic 35mm film camera distributed by Vivitar in the early 1990s. The camera was sold in either a plastic clamshell (blister pack) retail package or a more traditional box. Like most of Vivitar's focus free panoramic cameras, the panoramic format is created by operating a control that masks off the top and bottom of the normal 35mm frame. The camera has two lenses that are selected by operating a second control marked tele (70mm) or wide (35mm). A built in electronic flash is also available by activating a third control on the front of the camera marked by a "lighting bolt" icon.
