Description
The Vivitar V2000 is a fully manual 35mm film SLR camera similar to the Pentax K1000. It takes K-mount (Pentax bayonet) lenses. It has a plastic body, hot-shoe flash socket, internal light meter (activated by pushing the shutter release button half-way), manual film advance, screw thread for remote shutter release cord. It does not have a flash sync terminal, automatic exposure capability or a self-timer. The shutter is fully mechanical. The battery is required only to power the meter. The camera was available with a 35-70mm f/3.5-4.8 kit lens. Both the camera body and the lens were made by Cosina.[1]
