The Vivitar Ultra Compact is a 35mm film camera which doesn't use batteries (there is no ability to use any flash). It has a 28mm lens which is fixed focus (marked as "Focus Free", according to the box everything from 1.2 metres onwards is in focus), manual film advance and re-wind, and a built-in lens cover. The box notes that 200 speed film and above should be used. It was made in China.
