Hello, I'm very surprised that you mentionned that the Samoca shutters were Vario or Prontor. I don't think any japanese manufacturer bought their shutters to Germany, they were much to expensive to produce low priced cameras. Moreover, I think the after WWII Vario had a speed range from 1/25 to 1/200. Regards.

The terms 'Vario type' and 'Prontor type' were taken directly from Samoca Paperwork supplied with the Cameras. The inclusion of the phrase 'type' must infer a japanese copy of the german original....I will edit the Samoca pages to make this more clear.

I have now added 'type' to the description. It should have been there to start with ! Thanks for spotting the error Dbroglin.
