Hello, I'm very surprised that you mentionned that the Samoca shutters were Vario or Prontor. I don't think any japanese manufacturer bought their shutters to Germany, they were much to expensive to produce low priced cameras. The terms 'Vario type' and 'Prontor type' were taken directly from Samoca Paperwork supplied with the Cameras. The inclusion of the phrase 'type' must meen a japanese copy of the german original....
