Hi,

I'm Lunomi. I currently reside in a small old town near the last standing fortress of slide film defender Fujifilm Ashigara site in Japan. It is located on the coastal area on the outskirts of Tokyo metropolis, and I'm enjoying taking pictures of beautiful landscapes and the traditional life here with my old beloved film cameras.

With the advent of the internet, I've always felt that the information about Japanese cameras, especially common point-and-shoot cameras is somewhat insulated only among the Japanese community and never unveiled to the people outside, mainly due to their lack of communication skills and reluctance to share their knowledge with people abroad; most of the people here are astonishingly allergic to English and are adamant to avoid any opportunities to interact with people abroad, which I feel a great loss for both sides in the global century. Fortunately as I am a returnee who had spent several years in the US and some other countries in my childhood, I really enjoy this new era in which information spreads freely all around the world.

So, this is why I decided to join Camera-wiki and started contributing some knowledge I possess. I know very well that I'm not a kind of person who is meticulous enough to write articles in this kind of site, but I hope my contributions will still help some people get an insight into their there's no information anywhere cameras.

Apologies in advance for my poor writing skills and English. I would be grateful if you amend my articles if you find it unnatural, if they are full of grammatical, spelling, punctuation mistakes, or if there's misunderstanding or incorrect information about the camera itself.
