Tokiwa Kōgaku Kōgyō Yūgen-gaisha (常盤光学工業有限会社) was a Japanese. Its name appears in 1942 and 1943 advertisements for the Zeitax II and III[1] It was based in Tokyo.[2] There is perhaps a relationship with Motodori and Nissan Kōgaku, see the discussion in the Zeitax page.

McKeown also mentions a Tokiwa Hand camera as "made by Kuribayashi for Tokiwa Kōgaku".[3]

There is a company called K.K. Tokiwa Kōgaku (株式会社ときわ光学) existing today but it was founded in 1956.[4]

It is unknown if this company is related with Tokiwa Seiki who made the First Six and Firstflex cameras.

120 film cameras

It is unknown if the previous models of the Zeitax were made by the same company, see Zeitax.
