The Tokina AT-X 270 AF PRO 28-70mm 1:2.6-2.8 lens is a fast zoom lens, that was made with Nikon AF-D, Canon EOS, Minolta AF and Pentax AF mount.
The optical formula of this lens, and its successor the AT-X 270 AF PRO II, comes from the famous (and expensive) Angénieux AF 28-70mm 1:2.6.
The difference between the AT-X 270 AF PRO and the PRO II is the bayonet hood, the finish, and the better multi-coating which results in better flare resistence of the PRO II.
