Tokina's AT-X 270 AF PRO 28-70mm 1:2.6-2.8 lens is a fast zoom lens, that was made in Nikon AF-D, Canon EOS, Minolta AF and Pentax AF mounts.

The optical formula of this lens and its successor AT-X 270 AF PRO II was derived from the famous expensive Angénieux AF 28-70mm 1:2.6.

The difference between the AT-X 270 AF PRO and the PRO II is the bayonet hood, the finish, and the better multi-coating which results in better flare resistence of the PRO II.
