The Taron 35 III, also known as Taron MX, is a 35mm rangefinder introduced in 1958 by the Japanese company Taron. It was available with a 1.9/45mm or a 2.8/45mm Taronar lens and is fitted with a Copal MXV shutter.

There is an often seen confusion on the name of that camera. It is usually designated as Taron MX, this seems to be due to the marking "MX" beside the flash socket (M & X sync).

One of the interesting features of this Taron III is the folding rewind crank. When deployed, it is twice as long as a usual one.
