I have noticed that there are two fixed lens types: cameras with the shutter release on top, and those with the shutter release on the front.  The ones with the release on top, such as the Vito B, are very tough cameras; and the ones with the release on the front are not so well built.  I have examples of both, and I think it may be worth discussing these basics.

I've been researching their history for about a year now, and I think I have a decent grasp of how it started and changed over the years. Between Googles poor translations and my limited knowledge of German I do feel there are facts that have become distorted. Voigtländer History

I've been researching their history for about a year now, and I think I have a decent grasp of how it started and changed over the years. Between Googles poor translations and my limited knowledge of German I do feel there are facts that have become distorted.
