McKeown 12th Ed, p82 says Original price was high, but the first generation of autofocus SLR cameras was not popular, and the ME-F was closed out at lower prices within three years. He dates it as '82, but that's probably the difference between announcement and availability in the US. The User's manual at Pentax Imaging (link now on the page) says x0.87 magnification, 92% view. --Dustin McAmera 13:35, 13 May 2011 (PDT)
