Years (and their italicization)
With moderate but not complete consistency, this article italicizes years. I haven't changed this, because it seems deliberate. In some other article (I forget which, sorry), some years were italicized and I removed these italics.
The italics do strike me as a bit odd. I'd limit their use to emphasis. A hypothetical example: "In 1954 (and not in 1955, as is widely stated), Aloysius Blochmann redesigned blah blah blah." -- Hoary 19:26, 18 May 2006 (EDT)
