TSK is a name on some Japanese leaf shutters of the 1950s. All the examples observed have B, 1–200 speeds.

As the Elbow Flex and the Princeflex were sometimes fitted with a TSK shutter and were made by Tōyō Seiki Kōgaku, it seems likely that TSK stands for Tōyō Seiki Kōgaku and that the shutters were made by that company. Further, the TSK shutter on the Cosmoflex[1] is marked not only TSK but also what appears to be TOYO S.K.CO.; however, nothing is yet clearly known.

An unrelated TSK shutter, giving 5–250, B, T speeds, has been observed on a Baby Germa pictured in Sugiyama.[2] In this case, TSK certainly stands for Tōkyō Shashin Kōgaku.

Cameras fitted with TSK shutters

Listing of a camera here should not be taken to mean that all examples of the camera were fitted with TSK shutters.
