The company Tōhō Kōgaku (東邦光学) is mentioned as the maker of the 85/2.7 lens mounted on the Orchid 6×6 SLR prototype in 1947.[1]

The Toho Six and Planet 6×6 folders made in 1952–3 have TOHOKOGAKU on the back. The Toho Six is attributed to Tōhō Kōgaku (東邦光学);[2] this might be the same company or another one with the same name.
