The company Tōhō Kōgaku (東邦光学) made the 85/2.7 lens mounted on the Orchid 6×6 SLR prototype in 1947.[1] That lens could be converted into a 120/4 tele lens via a converter, and other lenses were reportedly planned for the camera.[1]

The Toho Six 6×6 folder is also attributed to Tōhō Kōgaku (東邦光学),[2] and both the Toho Six and Planet, made in 1952–3, have TOHOKOGAKU on the back. This might be the same company or another one with the same name.
