The Super Nettel was a 35mm folding camera made by Zeiss Ikon. It was introduced in 1934 and was intended to be a cheaper, fixed lens, derivative of the Contax I. Its Zeiss Ikon code number was 536/24. The Super Nettel II, introduced in 1936, code number 537/24, was a special version with a chrome finish and the Zeiss Tessar 5cm f:2.8. It was a limited edition, with only 2000 bodies made.
The successor of the Super Nettel as a cheaper alternative to the modern Contax II should have been called the Super Nettel III, but it was released with the name Nettax.
