The Videon is a 35mm stereo camera comprising a bakelite-type plastic body with metal top and bottom plates, produced by Stereocrafters of Wisconsin, USA, in the 1950s. A Videon II succeeded the Videon in the mid 50s. Exposures overlap on the film; brass sprockets in the Videon have a tendency to tear sprocket holes.

- Lenses Ilex "Stereon" matched anastigmats, 35 mm, no filter thread (outside lens diameter: 24 mm).

- Focusing manual, 3 feet - infinity.
- Shutter mechanical central type shutter with 3 blades, between the lenses.
- Shutter Speeds 1/100, 1/50, 1/25, 1/10 sec., "B" and"T"
- Viewfinder Simple viewfinder mounted on body.
- Film Loading manual, whole back slides off to load film.
- Film Transport manual, with knob, release button to be pushed for each frame advance.
- Frame Counter rotating disc on top of body, numbered every five frames to 25.
