Special 937
This article is a stub. You can help Camera-wiki.org by expanding it.
The Spécial "937" is a French folding camera for 6x9 images on 120 film[1], built from parts from Demaria-Lapierre and Dehel. Date is a uncertain, but it is shown on an ad dated 1937. Controls are basic; shutter release, B/I (pose/inst) shutter control, two aperture settings - mini/maxi. Some examples seem to be fitted for a carry-strap at the top; the example shown and that in the ad are not. The name "937" has no obvious explanation.
- ↑ Sylvain Halgand lists this as 620; the example in the photo has too large a drive shaft for 620 spools.
