The '''Super R-I''' is a less common model from [[Spartus]]—apparently an upmarket version of the [[Spartus Full-Vue|Full-Vue]] or a downmarket version of the geared-focus [[Spartus Spartaflex|Spartaflex]]. Unlike the latter model, the R-I does not have a focusable viewing lens, and so would be classed as a [[pseudo TLR]]. However it does include a [[guess focus|scale focusing]] lens, and an f/stop selector offering three apertures between f/7.7 and f/22. It gives 2&frac14;" square exposures on [[120 film]].

The Super R-I has a molded front panel, and both dark and light color schemes have been observed.
