This Spartus Folding Camera is a strut-folding camera for 127 film, giving eight exposures of 6×4.5 cm per roll. The body is molded bakelite, and the front panel is printed with a nice black & silver Art Deco motif, which is slightly different on the Spartus Junior name variant. This model originated as the Falcon Junior, produced in New York City by Utility Manufacturing Co., and then continued under the Spartus name in Chicago. The production of Spartus Folding Camera did start in 1940[1].
