Sources: Old Japanese writing

In the original Japanese documents written before 1946, the writing system is slightly different from today. The main differences are:
- old kanji forms, see the Shinjitai wikipedia article
- some old kana characters fallen in disuse
- less standardization in the katakana writing
Here are some common words whose writing has changed:
