The '''ProMavica MVC-2000''' was largely similar to the preceding [[Sony Mavica MVC-A7AF | MVC-A7AF]], among [[Sony#Still-video cameras | Sony's early still-video cameras]]. It has the same non-removable 6x zoom lens, but omits the voice memo feature. It accepts enhanced Hi-Band VF (video floppy) media, which had just been standardized.

The obscure '''MVC-2010''' was a small revision restoring the option of attaching audio clips to images.
