Solida

The Welta Solida was a 6x9 folding camera released in 1933. It had a coupled rangefinder, separate from the viewfinder, in a long rectangular black box. It also had a brilliant finder. The lens was unit focused, driven by a small knob at one side of the folding bed, a system continued in the later Weltur series. The winding was by key, and there was no double exposure prevention. The Solida was dual format, having the ability to take 4.5x6 exposures with a mask inserted in the exposure chamber and a switchable mask built in the viewfinder.
