The Selon is a Japanese leaf shutter. It is listed as made by Miyoshi in the "Kokusan shashinki no genjōchōsa" ("Inquiry into Japanese cameras") compiled in April 1943.[1] It is not known if it was an original Miyoshi product or if it was made by Proud before this company was absorbed by Miyoshi.

The range of speeds was T, B, 5–250 in 1940 and T, B, 5–300 in 1941. In 1940, the shutter was sometimes advertised as Selon II (セロンシヤツターⅡ).[2]

Cameras equipped

This list is incomplete. The fact that a camera appears in this list does not mean that all the variants were equipped.
