The Samoca MR was one of the late camera models of Samoca, introduced in 1961. It was a rangefinder camera for 35mm film, mainly constructed of metal parts. The camera was available with a Samocar f/2.8 45mm lens or, as an option, a less expensive f/3.5 version of the lens. The flash synchronized leaf shutter had speeds from 1 to 1/300 sec. plus B. The optical viewfinder was combined with a superimposed coupled rangefinder.
