Template:127 Japan The Sakura is a very simple bakelite camera launched in 1937[1] by Konishiroku (today Konica). It was advertised the same year for ¥6.50[2].

It takes 4×5cm pictures on 127 film. The front plate is mounted on a rectangular box sliding out of the main body. There is a folding frame finder, and a very simple shutter with B and I settings. The lens is only marked ROKUOH SHA and TOKYO, while SAKURA is molded in the front plate.
