The Rolleiflex 4.0 FW is a medium format Wide-angle TLR camera manufactured by Rollei and later on by DHW Fototechnik from 2003 till present.

General

The Rolleiflex 4.0 FW is the follow up for the Wide-Angle Rolleiflex. It is Rolleis answer to the demand of a Rolleiflex with a wide-angle lens.
It is designed using the Rolleiflex 2.8 FX as a base.


Specifications

  • Format : 12 exposures of 6 x 6 cm on 120 type rollfilm.
  • Taking lens: Schneider Super-Angulon 1:4 f=50mm, HFT coating.
  • Viewing lens: Heidosmat 1:4 f=50mm.
  • Filter Bayonet : Both lenses, size 4.
  • Shutter: Copal leafshutter. Speeds 1 to 1/500 sec. and B.
  • Lighmeter system : Coupled, Centre-weighted average metering by two SI photo elements
    behind the finder mirror, Five-LED display in viewfinder.
  • Film speed settings : 25 to 6400 ISO.
  • Dimensions: 109 x 118 x 147 mm
  • Weight: 1400 grams
