Description

The Rolleicord IIc, also known as a type 3, was manufactured between February 1938 until January 1939. This is the first Rolleicord to display the camera’s name as a cast nameplate. The IIc is the first Rolleicord made by Franke and Heidecke to have a serial number, as does the first Rolleiflex which began manufacture two years before (1937). The sole number found on earlier model Rolleicords is the serial number for the camera’s Zeiss lens. The focusing knob is marked in feet and includes a depth of field calculation guide. An exposure calculator is on the camera back.
