The Rojar 80mm f/3.5 lens was made by the Japanese company Zeika in the 1950s, in both Exakta mount and 42mm screw mount.[1]

The lens is only known in an all-aluminium barrel, with fully manual diaphragm. The distance ring is engraved in feet, down to 3.5ft, and has no depth-of-field indications. It seems that the lens head turns when focusing. The aperture ring is graduated from 3.5 to 22.

The front rim is engraved Zeika Optco Tokyo ROJAR 1:3.5 f=80mm No.xxxxx. The only serial numbers known so far are in the 600xx range.

Notes

  1. The lens with Exakta mount is pictured [1] [2] [3] at www.fotonov.com. The lens with 42mm screw mount has been observed for sale at a dealer.
