The Prinsen Box camera was produced by the Dutch company Laboratorium Prinsen (LP). It takes images 6 x 9cm on 120 film.
The meniscus lens, a Spheroscope 1:11 11cm, was produced by the Dutch company Oude Delft (Old Delft).

The Prinsen Box was introduced on December 22nd 1947 in a period, just after world war 2, that importing foreign cameras to The Netherlands was extremely restricted. The Prinsen Box therefore was an immediate success and about 10.000 units of this camera, together with the Prinsen Flash Box, were produced.

There are 2 main variants. One with a Brilliant finder and one with a Telescopic finder.
