Prince plate folders
Revision as of 10:44, 15 September 2006 by Rebollo fr (talk | contribs) (only source is McK, not much to say)
A Japanese 6.5×9 folding camera called Prince is reported and pictured in McKeown. The camera name could indicate that it was made by Prince Camera Works, if the latter was indeed a camera maker.
The picture shows a regular plate folder, with a metal body, a folding frame finder, a brilliant finder, a small focusing wheel on the right of the bed and a focusing scale on the left. There does not seem to be any movement ability. There is no nameplate visible. The shutter is a Perfect by Neumann & Heilemann, reported to give 5–150 speeds, and the lens is reported to be a Kenngott Anastigmat Vidar 10.5cm f:4.5.[1]
