Pronto Sonar OneStep with sound-wave autofocus image by Bryan Chernick (Image rights) |
For the basic Pronto! series, this 1978 upgrade adding sonar autofocus was a significant leap forward in technology from Polaroid. Combined with autoexposure, this continues the OneStep branding seen on many later models (the "one step" being pressing the shutter button). This model uses SX-70 type integral film.
