The Polaroid Flashgun #268 is a flashgun for flashbulbs designed to be used with the 100, 200, and 300 series Automatic Land Cameras. The black box contains an AA battery. Its reflector sits on one of the corners of the box so the reflector can rotate to 3 different positions allowing the flash to be bounced off the ceiling indoors. It has a hinged, transparent, light blue cover which has to be opened to exchange the bulb. The blue cover converts the color temperature of the flashbulbs to daylight for daylight balanced film. It uses M3 flashbulbs. The red button ejects the bulbs after use. The flashgun's cable is connected to the camera and is triggered by the camera's flash synchronized shutter.
