Photo-Times[1] (フォトタイムス, Foto taimusu) was a Japanese monthly photographic magazine that lasted from 1924 until 1940.

Photo Times was ostensibly published by "Photo Times–sha", which was in fact the publicity division of Oriental Photo Industrial Company (オリエンタル写真工業, Oriental Shashin Kōgyō). Its first issue is dated March 1924. The magazine showed an unusual degree of interest in new aesthetic and photographic ideas from the west, especially from around 1938.

The last issue was dated December 1940; it was thereupon combined with Camera Art to create the new magazine Hōdō Shashin.

Note

  1. This roman-letter title appears on the front cover of the May 1938 issue, as shown by Shirayama in "Nihon no shashin/kamera zasshi".
