The Dr. Krügener Perkeo N°140 was a magazine camera in book format. It held 24 4×4cm film plates in its magazine. The camera was just a little bit bigger than Dr. Krügener's famous pocket book camera. Technically it was similar, with three chambers: one storage chamber for the un-exposed miniature plates, one dark camera chamber for the exposure, and one storage chamber for the exposed plates. Selectable shutter speeds were time and instant mode. The camera was made of wood and was covered with leatherette.
