The Pentax Zoom 70-S is a 35mm compact zoom camera with autofocus made by Pentax. It replaced in 1998 the Zoom 70, which was the first of the range (1986). It featured a sturdy body and an optional Tele Converter TE-Z100.

- Type: 24x36 fully automatic lens-shutter with built-in zoom lens and auto flash.
- Lens: Pentax Zoom Lens f=35mm - f=70mm Tele-Macro.

- Shutter: Central electronic shutter.
- Film autoloading and rewinding.
- Auto-focus - MaP Auto-focus.
- Self-timer.
- Viewfinder: real image with lines for parallax correction. Focus lock and flash readiness indicators.
- Flash: Integrated frontal.
- Power: 4 AAA 1.5V batteries.
