The Pentax Espio 838G is a full automatic compact camera for 35mm film made by Pentax in China.

It features a 38-80mm zoomlens and a wide range of flash modes, the red-eye reduction function has a separate button. A self timer function is also included, as well as a Bulb mode. All switched functions are showed on an LCD display on top of the camera, this also shows battery condition and frame number.

The 838G takes one CR123 battery for power.
